Paul has enormous lending experience winning many awards along the way including being General Manager and a Director of BRW’s fastest growing business in Australia in 2004 and in the top 10 in 2005. Paul builds a great rapport with his clients and has an ability to work with the beginners through to the most advanced and complex clients. His experiences in building a business from humble beginnings to a major success translates to an understanding and ability to relate to the needs of property investors and small business owners.

Principal responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients with finding the best home loan products in the market place within their required timeframe
  • Assisting small business owners to find the best and most suitable commercial financing options
  • Oversee the day to day operations of Menzies Commercial and Super Fund Lending Australia.
  • Oversee the expansion of the Menzies Financial Group of companies

 


 

Tim Murphy

Director
  • Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning)

  • Extensive personal property portfolio
  • Enormous experience in loan structuring and assisting clients with complex situations
  • Writes and conducts programs on motivation, education and investment strategies

Tim has built a very substantial investment property portfolio in a wide variety of entities and structures. These structures have enabled him to lower his costs and open up further opportunities to expand. Tim is still actively adding to this portfolio and spends 100% of his time researching the property and finance markets. Tim takes great pride in his clients success' and in being readily accessible for them to draw off his knowledge and experience. Tim's philosophy is to build these relationships not only in the first consultation, but throughout the clients entire investment lifespan. Principal responsibilities include:

Geoff Madafiglio

Senior Financial Planner of Menzies Financial Planning

  • Specialises in self managed super funds and direct investment advice
  • Extremely knowledgable on Income Protection, Trauma and Life Insurance
  • Holds degrees in both Economics and Law

Geoff has over twelve years experience providing financial advice to clients and assisting with their overall financial management. His expertise is in assessing a client's current financial situation and identifying how they can reach their goals without sacrificing their current lifestyle. Geoff specialises in self managed super funds and direct investment advice. He has degrees in both Economics and Law and commenced his career as a Lawyer before making the move to financial planning in 1998.

 


 

Anthony Simon

Director

Anthony Simon has been a professional property investor since 1990. Anthony has had over 10 years in the marketing and sales industry; and 19 years experience as a property investor. Principal responsibilities include:
Head of Marketing and I.T.

  • Creation and implementation of all marketing strategies and concepts for Menzies Financial Group
  • Ensuring everyone is happy – clients, lenders, staff, referrers

 


 

Chris Sheppard

Finance & Property Consultant
  • Diploma in Business management
  • MFAA Accredited mortgage consultant
  • Experienced in both residential and commercial property markets

Chris Sheppard has extensive knowledge and personal experience in all lending fields. He is a specialist in self employed, business lending and group purchasing.

Chris was a director in a large manufacturing business employing over 40 people. Within this role he has been responsible for business lending, including machinery, vehicle leasing and purchasing a commercial property in a family superannuation trust.

Chris made commercial and residential property purchases in his early 20’s. Chris is very lifestyle motivated and knows how to balance this with his property investments. This allowed him to travel overseas for skiing trips every second year in his 20’s using investment income!

Chris has extensive experience in structuring residential and commercial purchases in family and group entities. He is also very experienced in guarantor loans where parents can help their children get an head start into property.

 


 

Steve Menzies

Director
  • High profile professional athlete, he has played first grade for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles for 16 consecutive seasons
  • Steven opitimises what Menzies Financial Group represents as a hardworking, loyal, and community driven business
  • Director of Imminent Wealth Academy Pty Ltd. Imminent Wealth Academy is supported and recommended by the National Rugby League to hold financial education workshops to all teams in the NRL.

Steve Menzies is a Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles legend, who has remained in the local area from his beginnings in junior rugby league right through his entire illustrious 15 year career which has not yet finished. Over the past decade Steve has invested very wisely and accumulated a mass of prime investment properties as well as other successful business ventures. Having represented NSW in State of Origin, as well as Australia in many Tests right throughout his career, he has continuously played at the highest level of football and as such proves to be an excellent representative of Menzies Financial Group. He has a passion for supporting the local community as well as the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.

Principal responsibilities include:

  • Public Relations & Marketing
  • Creation of marketing strategies and concepts for Menzies Financial Group
  • Ensuring everyone is happy – clients, lenders, staff, referrers

Currently Steve is living in France playing professional Rugby League and responsibilities will recommence on returning to Australia.
